Personality: Reserved and not talkative to those he doesn’t like some call him stoic. He strives to be the best at anything he puts his mind to. He trains like a mad man and goes all out in everything he does. He won’t stop working on something until he is absolutely satisfied with the end result. He will often argue about decisions that he disagrees with regardless of who gave them.

Appearance: Broad shouldered and well muscled he is every bit the fighter you would expect from the 11th division. He is not bad looking he has been often described as handsome. He has medium black hair, which he keeps slicked back out of his face. His nose is slightly crooked from a fight when he was still alive. His eyes are dark blue and are known to hypnotize those who stare into them for to long. He has no scars on his body but does have a lightning bolt across each pectoral.

History/Background:
Born to a wealthy family on earth John was hardly a normal child. He showed early signs of being very competitive and extremely gifted physically. His parents soon decided to not send John to school instead he would travel the world learning and mastering as many martial arts as he could. He was accompanied by tutors to teach him what he couldn’t learn in the Dojo. Before he was died, from being washed overboard off a boat he was traveling on and drowning, John had mastered around 60 of the major unarmed fighting styles and 5 different Japanese sword styles along with Italian fencing.
After dying and entering the Soul society John quickly got the attention of the Shinigami because he has an immense Spiritual pressure. Because he was so skilled in fighting he easily passed those courses and soon found he also had a knack for kidō and soon mastered that as well. After schooling he joined the 11th division because he felt if best fit his ideals of being the best fighter he could be. Since he has such a massive Spiritual Pressure he had a special kimono made to help keep it down. He knows the name of his zanpakutō so he can release his sword to the shikai level but not Banki yet which he is trying to unlock to this day.
